Soundcard or Joystick?

Hi guys,

Ive just got out my old Flight Sim 2000 disk to play on but didn't realise until now that my new build doesn't have a joy stick port....darn

So i picked out my old soundcard and installed...low and behold discontinued with no Vista driver.Grrrr....

So i now have a dilemma.
I have £60 do i,

1. Buy a new USB joystick and stick with on board sound?

2. Buy a sound card with a joystick attachment in? (if they still exist)

3. Possibility of buying both.?

I know a bit about hardware except Joysticks and Soundcards so has anyone had any luck with a particular sound card or joystick or the best way of maybe buying both?

yaay Ive got a bit more money (scratch card win hehe)

Ive now got an extra £40 so £100 basically.
Any one any ideas or recommendations as to a sound card and/or joystick?
