SoundMax errors

  1. We have been getting an annoying issue for awhile now when users log in. They will get a series of SoundMax error messages that pop up in a row. The messages are:f

    Soundmax, Error extracting support files.
    Access is denied.
    Setup failed to run installation.
    The system cannot find the specified file.

    We are using HP desktops and laptops running windowx xp sp2. I have searched all over and not found any reference to these errors. Has anyone else seen this and have a solution to it?

    Go to the HP Support website and donwload and install the latest audio driver for the laptops model. You might consider updating XP to SP3. It is available from the Windows (Microsoft) Update site
