My first time here. Ok. Let me begin by saying sup to everyone. Hopefully this won’t be my last post. I just purchased a Soyo KT880 Dragon2 v2.0 and Amd Athlon XP3000+ Motherboard & CPU combo from Tiger Direct. I installed the CPU, Fan , and all other hardware I have for it. The PC starts its regular check when u turn on power. It detects that there is a cd/dvd Rom installed but it won’t give me the option to select cd/dvd rom as a boot up device. It doesn’t even show up at all in the “CMOS Setup Utility”. Also, It will only detect a cd/dvd device if I connect it to the IDE3 or IDE4 slots on motherboard . It will not detect anything in the IDE2 Slot. Wondering If anyone has had a similar problem or know how I might be able to get the motherboard to detect my cd/dvd devices. I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me.

    Thank You in advance.
