SpyCatcher says quarantined files will be active once uninstalled

  1. I was removing spycatcher 2006 and it says "spyware and suspicious files you've quarantined will be active once spycatcher is removed". WTF?

    Just to be clear, this was an older version from 2007. I didn't have network access at the time. Don't worry, I fixed it myself.

    What did you do to fix it? Reformat the hard drive?

    I ran every anti-spyware and anti-rootkit I could find until it was gone.
