What is spyware? Approximately every minute or so the little red circle with the white x in the bottom right hand corner, (which i usually do not see at all) pops up and says your computer has been infected, windows has detected spyware infection, it is reccommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss, click here to protect your computer from spyware". I dont know what this is, but it is annoying. My homepage is now google everytime I log in instead of what it used to be. I change it back, but then I log back in and its back to google. Does anybody know what this is or how to fix it? Is it going to get worse? I just want my laptop to be safe with no serious problems. Any help is appreciated
