I need some advice. I work at a ski area and we are about to install a new ticketing system. This new system is "open source" running through SQL Server. Our current ticketing also runs through SQL. So I have two questions.
1. Does open source mean that I can write my own script because with our old system support had to log on to the server then paste all the new scripts into SQL to update the software for which we pay dearly?
2. Where can I find a good tutorial for SQL so that I can write my own script?
