Starship

As you probably all have seen the peace of news that Space X tested the space ship that is about to take a crewed mission to Mars in a few years. I wanna hear your thoughts about this test and was it really successful as Elon Musk claims?

First attempts are hardly ever successful. They didn't take it up and let it just fall. They did attempt a landing. I can only imagine that freefall and controlled re-entry data was more important at this time. Now that they have that data, landing calculations which they have already can be implemented.
