StatCounter data says Windows 8 has overtaken Android in web traffic

So now since you have no argument, the stats are indeed correct, but now we don't know how many of those say positive things about Windows 8. Ok.

But wait. You say just as with negative things, you've also heard positive things, but you <I>automatically</I> assume the positive things must be fanboys and fangirls? *mind blown*

I could label you as an Apple fanboy for seemingly not liking Windows 8. See, I can play that game too.

It's most likely caused by all those people trying out the Surface tablet at the Microsoft Store and kiosks around malls.

@ lawfer: Yup, because nobody bought Windows 8 without researching it first. Of course people bought it, it`s the new Windows. How does that equate to it being a success? Don`t get too excited, slow down, remember not to be a selfish lover.

Windows 8 has some neat features but if you are happy with Windows 7 or XP then stick it out for Windows 9 or 10? Windows 8 has some new changes unlike it was with Windows 7. Patch for Surface RT already.. What does that say? Microsoft rush out that device into the market before Xmas. I am waiting to see what happens next.

All microsoft mobile operating systems are included in the category of others with popularity not worth mentioning. Also, you concluded, from the same stats, iOS to be the most popular????? . According to StatCounter, android is by far the most popular and the gap is widen every month.

On a related note, 8 shows 5 times smaller user base than 7 at the same point after the launch... epic fail for the post pc hype, INCLUDING the whole post desktop 8 mess!
