Stay away from Acronis 2012 Home latest build 7119!

    From my personal experience I don't think the image backups made by the latest 7119 build are compatible with the retail emergency recovery environment cd nor with one made onto a USB key using that build. I kept getting Acronis failed and invalid index errors. Only fix was to install that build onto another machine running windows along with the hard drive belonging to other computer hooked up to it and rebuild the drive in Windows. So if you have made any backups using latest build you may not be able to restore if you only own one PC!

    I personally will only use 2010 version from now on as the 2012 version borked my machine and was the reason I had to do a restore in first place!
