  1. Hi.

    After trying the 6 floppy boot disk. I was able to run the chkdsk /r, but I the autochk.exe file cannot be found. I tried to type it in manually, but it's not there. I don't have the XP CD so I can't get it there. I've searched around alot looking for answers, but have found none. What can I do? I would appreciate any help.

    You could download something like The Ultimate Boot CD from here: Boot the computer off of it and run some tests, FIXMBR, Reformat or whatever you need but you will need a Windows CD to reinstall the operating system if it comes to that.
