Stop the streching of the video after converting files to different format

  1. After i download, i usually convert the avi file to a NTSC mpeg file so i can watch it on my playststion 2 or any dvd player. But once it is finished everything on the video is streched thin. How do i avoid this from happening so it looks normal?

    Probably depends on the program you are using. I just got this program yesterday and haven't tried it, but its free for a few more days: http://www.winxdvd.com/giveaway/ May be worth giving a shot.

    well, i always use Pavtube Video Converter to help convert video files to mpeg, and no such problem happened to me.

    I believe the converter you are using has a switch to prevent image from being stretched. Have you go through the options of your converter program?
