Okay so i have my drives hooked up.
    1. External 250GB (valuable data on it)
    2. Internal 80GB IDE (valuable data on it)

Trying to get the files off onto the HD i have just booted from.
Only problem is that my drives 1 and 2. they are not appearing in "my computer". but when i go in "computer management", they are there but are listed as "unallocated".

does this mean the end of all of my files i have on them? is there any software out there capable?
help will be very much appreciated.

This anything like "bartpe"? cause if it is, i had no success with it. any software that i can run from the computer to target the drives i have hooked up?

Yes it is like BartPE, but better (unless you have your own programs installed with BartPE (as that can be way better than UBCD if you did.))

Unallocated could be a wiring issue, but if all is plugged in and setup properly then UBCD or even Gparted as listed in this post: http://www.techspot.com/vb/post695234-57.html would be good.
