Strange Error 8500 GT

  1. i have an 8500 gt and its a nice lil card dont get many errors with it except this, every so offten mainly after updats when the pc restarts the display freaks out, th res reduces and colour goes to 16 colours but a shut down and its normally fine.
    any ideas

    What are the rest of your systems specs? The power supply may be too weak to run the video card properly

    Have you tried installing the latest video driver from Nvidia's website?

    is it a 64bit vista by chance, because u need to run driver cleaner and then re-install drivers

    its happend on vista and xp vista only whne on last week error been happening for ages
