Strange Hitachi HDT725050VLA360 ATA - HD Tune Result

Hello my pc is acting strange lately. My HDD is constantly busy with something. I ran HD Tune 2.55 and I don't know if the result is good with all the peeks and downs.

Is my HDD dead? (in S.M.A.R.T. it sais good health)

I don't think so after a fresh install of vista without internet. Even the install took 3 times longer than normal.

This indicates either a hardware compatibility problem, incorrect bios setting, or a impending hardware failure

The Hitachi hard drives are our least favorite... and have been trouble for four years or more. We can generally trust the S.M.A.R.T tests, but HD Tune is better... the Free HDTune 2.55 is very limited, but at $35, the terrific 3.50 is just priced too high.
But you should figger out why it is "busy with something..." as that does not sound like a typical failure in the middle of happening.
