Strange problem

I noticed yesterday that all my \'s in file paths have been replaced with this weird looking W with a line through it.

And if I type \ anywhere in windows it also shows as this weird W character instead or a \.

Have a look at this post from years ago I found. Have you changed any 'Regional or language' settings lately?
