I like the idea of "real time, active" protection,
and don't have a problem with the cost - IF the
advantage is a real improvement.

What's the opinion of the experts we have here?

If not that, then is there anything else in the way of
subscription service that does the same thing maybe
better? (Just asking for an opinion here :))

Second question - part of that subscription Ad-Watch
is something called Ad Sweep or some such - clears
all the cookies etc when you close an internet connection.

But I find that when I clear all cookies, then I have to go
thru a tedious process to get Firefox reconnected so obviously
don't want all cookies removed.

Anyone know if it's possible to set up an exceptions list
for that particular feature? - or some other way around losing
all the Firefox cookies?

Thanks!!

What process do you have to go through to get it reconnected?

I regularly clear my cookies with Ccleaner and dont have a problem with firefox.

Spybot has real time protection and is free

See Spyware Warrior for other legitimate products.

I forget exactly all what was involved, but the first time it happened it took me
quite awhile to figure out how to get FF to reconnect to the internet.

I'll try it with CC and see what happens - I don't recall how I cleared cookies
before a couple times but it may not have been with CC

Thanks!
