Sudden drop in frame rate during gaming

    Hi. My computer is around 2yrs old and it has always serve me well in games. It's only recently that it started to drop frame rates all of a sudden while gaming. I didn't have this problem b4 wif the same games and I did clean my cooler fins and fans once in a while. Anybody has any idea?

    Pro evolution soccer 2010, COD Modern2, Protoype, Dragon Age Origins and Left 4 Dead 2. All of these games now play wif inconsistent frame rate. The biggest difference i realised is Protoype. I used to run it smoothly without a hitch wif the same graphics settings. But now it's just give me like 10 to 20 fps sometimes when i'm glyding across the city..
