I am looking into getting my brother-in-law one of those pen mice that can be used in photoshop and other programs instead of a mouse to draw things. Has anyone ever used them before, or know of any good brands?

I've used a couple of cheap wacom tablets - they're okay from my experience, but I wasn't doing anything very demanding.

My daughter is a student Graphic Artist .She said the Wacom is good ,but do not buy the small tablet get the mid or large if $ is not an issue.Something about detail on a one to one ratio Tablet to Sceen size(Or as close as you can get is the best).
    I believe her.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll give them a look at tonight and decide which one will fit my budget and his needs. I sure hope he wants it cause it's going to be a surprise and if I get it online I won't be able to take it back. So we'll see, I'll let you know what I go with.

Well I got him the Wacom Graphire3 4x5 tablet. It was 70$ still more than I wanted to spend, but the 6x8 was 350$

    I hope he likes it
