SWAT4 Uninstall - Reinstall

  1. Hi all,

    My son deleted the folders out of Program Files
    The following message is shown when I try to reinstall SWAT4.

    When attempting to uninstall "Add remover programs" the dialogue box apprears and then disappears and nothing happens.

    Hope someone can assist.

    Well first off, did your son just drag the Swat folder from Program Files to the recycle bin and delete it? If so, you might just be able to recover it with a simple program as windows doesn't actually delete a file but just the reference to it. A simple tool to use for this would be Recuva from the same guys who make CCleaner, if you rather use a different tool there are plenty of good freeware ones around. You can also just use it to recover important saved games/settings.

    Hopefully this resolves the problem :) , just make sure you have safeguards next time so this doesn't happen :D. Just think if those were system critical files or important personal data.
