System auto restart

I am facing the problem of auto restart of my system whenever i use heavy load applications like cd writting, copying cd or creating image of the cd.
Whenever i do such applications, especiall copying cd onto my comp. or creating its image the process continues for about 20-50% and then the system restarts.
Please help me out.

I think there is something wrong with its driver
You can reinstall its driver first
