I have been receiving this Stop Error code on boot up after we cleaned out all the Anti-Virus programs and reinstalled them from Symantec.

Error code 1000007f, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 80042000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

That error can be be caused by Symantec. Post a minidump file from c:\windows\minidump. You can attach it in dmp file format.
