    hye guys..my computer is taking a very long time to boot up after i entered my user password..anybody can help me please??
    i have checked the startup program..and defrag my hard disk.but nothing help..

    What virus and malware protection are you running? What are your complete computer specs and what version of Windows are you running?

    im using avira internet security 2012, windows 7 ultimate..
    intel E5300, gigabyte G41 usb3, 8G viper extreme RAM, nvidia 9500GT..

    Temporarily remove Avira Internet Security 2012 and install Microsoft Security Essentials

    Windows 7 is tempermental about 3rd party antimalware programs. Did you just install Avira Internet Security 2012 recently? Is Windows 7 fully updated to Service Pack 1?

    well, im an avira users from the first time i have my own computer..but this problem never shows up before..but it started after i change my mobo,ram,psu about last month...i reformatted my hard disk and reinstalled everything that time.,
    i think its fully updated to windows service pack 1.,(as when i run the update check theres no more important update notifications..

    Just try Microsoft Security Essentials. See if it makes a difference
