Task manager won't open in Windows Vista

  1. hello, recently i have been having problems with my taskmanager. i have already read the thread on task manager problems have had no luck. basically the problem is when i try to open it in every way possible, cmd pops up for a second and then closes. when i type "taskmgr" in cmd it says "Process too big to fit in memory" the problem is i know there is no way it is too big to fit into the memory because i can run other bigger programs fine. ive scanned my computer with nod32, malaware bytes and spy bot s&d and all came clean. does anybody know a solution to this? thank you

    btw i forgot to say i have windows home premium
