Scavengers

2 of my posts were deleted.
Both were from the "California residents stocking up at Amazon ahead of sales tax deadline" and the last one was from today.

So you are saying that the posts I was responding to were not, and were fine?

"Californians are socially liberal and like things like Illegal Aliens, Gays"

"See ya' you socialist *****s"

These are OK? No personal comments there?

And Im well aware of your terms. I used no foul language and did NOT flame.
I responded in kind.

Dave

The post you quoted was not directed at anyone in particular while yours was. If you cannot articulate your argument or point of view without resorting to personal comments, perhaps you should stay out of the thread in question.

Attack groups but not individuals.

No wonder your boards are dead.

There is a huge difference between criticising, and attacking someone, whether it be the subject, a particular group or an individual and there just isn't any need to resort to abusive language to get your point across, no matter how "bad" the subject may feel when replying.

Members are entitled to give their opinion without having their comments insulted or ridiculed for doing so. The post removed in that thread was impolite and offensive, and you know it was. You could have quite easily responded in a polite manner.

The rules apply for everyone.

Well, this has dragged on Leeky but to be perfectly honest, if you think my post was any more
offensive than the post I was responding to then I really dont know what to say.
One of the emails I got on this topic may have hit it right on though.
Maybe Techspot was more concerned with my comments about CONServatives that actually offending any one person.

However I do agree that I could have responded in another way and just maybe taken the high road.
