NASA has decided to cancel all future visits to the Hubble space telescope. This means that the Hubble will last about four years untill its gyroscopes and batteries fail. NASA decided to take the action to ensure the safety of astronaughts following last years columbia disaster. It was concluded that the disaster was caused by chunks of insulation from the feul tank of the spacecraft coming loose and tearing a hole through the heat shield of the Columbia. NASA claims that astrnaughts cannot inspect thier heat shields when parked at the Hubble, and if problems araise they wouldnt have a enough feul to make it to the international space station. This of couse had lead to great anger throughout the sicnetific community and a row has broken out concerning the Hubbles future.

Somebody, or some country, trying to gain a foot in space will probably buy it.

Agreed...and when the economic cycle is back up on the high end, there will obviously be more spending on it...
