    My child is starting to use the computer more these days, including sites where chatting is allowed.

    Is there a simple solution to monitoring what they are doing?

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

    I did some reading on Net Nanny but I couldn't find an answer to these questions.

    1.Does it work with firefox?

    2.Can it detect the chat that goes on in such web sites as www.clubpenguin.com? That's a little different from the IM that goes on using apps like Yahoo and MSN, etc.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    the concepts are much like a firewall;

    Code:
     modem-->router-->firewall-->all.applications
    whatever is on the right side of the firewall is controlled by everything on the left.

    basic info

    the users guide
    pg 7 notes that N.N. needs access to the Internet, so this is ADDITIVE to your firewall.
