Thinks My Flash Drive is a MMC/SD Disk drive.

My flash drive used to work perfectly. It had text documents saved onto it. Now when I insert my fash drive the light on it is solid green and the window to view files on it does not pop up. I go to my computer, and a new icon called mmc/sd appears instead of removable disk. When I click on it, it says please insert a disk into drive f. I have research papers for school on there that I need.

go to disk management in the control panel and assign the device NEVER save important data you cannot afford to lose on a solid state device.
