Time synchronisation

    If you go into the Date and Time control panel you should be able to select the Internet Time Tab and turn off the Automatically Synch option on that tab. If you are logging into a domain then there may be a policy that sets that to on everytime you log in - it may even be necessary for certain processes to run properly. At my job if your clock is 5 minutes or more ahead or behind our time server then the OpenAFS service won't work properly. Maybe you have something similar at your location.
