Tip: Create Table without using mouse and menus

Hi all,

I donno how many knew this info. just thought of sharing..

Do you know its possible to create table without using mouse and menus in MS word and outlook. here it's that...

type the content(+-----+-----+-----+) in microsoft,
Outlook and press ENTER. One row of a table will be
created and for more rows you can press TAB.


Step 1:

+-------+---------+--------+--------+

Step 2:

After pressing enter having the cursor at the last '+' will be like the below one i.e., the line between two cells.


Step 3:

press TAB to create more Rows.

generally '+' represents the colomn borders and '-' represents the length of each colomn.

This simple way can be used at urgent times....
 
Am I correct in that this is only a feature for Outlook? I tried doing it in Word 2002 and all I got was the next line when I hit Enter- no table. Same thing in Outlook Express and Wordpad.
