i want to know wat is the difference between 64 and 32 bit versions of xp in a simple manner ?

does 64 bit processor improves cpu performsnce?

i am using core 2 duo 1.86MHz

and how to check the xp which is installed over a system whether - it is a 64 or 32 bit os ????????

Right click on My Computer, left click on Properties to view your current version

64 Bit Xp is faster
But Xp 64 Bit has had many issues (drivers and applications not working or even available)
Therefore Xp 32Bit is preferred

But Vista 64 Bit is preferred over 32 bit (that's because it was made with all the new drivers so forth
