Toshiba flash card issues

hope this the right place to ask about this problem . i have a toshiba model#A215-S4747 laptop and the problem im having is that when i turn on my laptop i get a Flash Card error also sometimes the screen goes black while just doing normal use. just did the power setting thing dont know yet if it worked. can any one help
