Toshiba has introduced the Qosmio X500 gaming laptop, which is one of the company's first Blu-ray-equipped products to market. The X500 is perfectly suited for desktop replacement, with its 18.4" 1080p HD display, 2.8GHz Intel Core i7, up to 8GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, and a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTS 250MNV.

That's some amazing hardware for a laptop. And no kidding it won't be cheap. I'm guessing around $4k.

If that rendering is accurate it looks like it'll have a carbon fiber wrist rest and more. That's a nice touch.
  4. I have just purchased this laptop and await it's arrival, can you add another hard drive?
