I have a panasonic toughbook CF-R3 and the problem I have is that sometimes it turns on and the times time not. The LED is on and when I push the power button it turns off and if I leave it in the bag a couple of days then it works fine but as soon as I turn off again it will need some days to be able to start again. Very bizzare! Does anyone have any idea.

When you shut it off, do you close the lid?

If you do, next time don't and see =over a period of several days if it starts ok.

If it does, then a sticky micro-switch on the close-lid circuit is likely.

I have been closing the lid. I will try to test that next time it starts. But if it is a sticky micro-switch on the close lid as you say how would I solve it?
