Transcend StoreJet mass storage device Problem

    Its a 320 GB mass storage device I bought , model number is TS320GSJ25M, I have formatted this from Vista with FAT32 , I use it in Vista normally and It works perfectly. When i connect it with my desktop where Its XP sp2, then it gets disconnected immidiately after getting connected. I have all my datas backup and I cant use them. Can anybody help me as to why this is hapening and how to recover from this problem. Help is appriciated.
