Trojan Horse Dropper.small.28.au  New?

  1. AVG very calmly found and isolated this Trojan. Ok, I sure appreciate and thank Gris and AVG. Two [2] questions:

[1] Know this or closely similar Trojan? Checked 2 data bases..nothing.

[2] Hours later I had a pop-up window announcing one item download.... Grey window looks like MS window, but now I am suspicious. trying to reset [**data-mining Trojan**]? [guessing].

Emailed MS security about this. We shall see how it shapes up.

If others read and recognize these events, it may help. TG

    Hi Tony.

It`s probably a good idea to see if you`ve got any secondary infections etc.

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

Post a fresh HJT log, only after doing the above.

    Regards Howard :)
