Trojan Horse Rootkit

  1. Please help,

while on the net yesterday AVG Resident Shield came up saying I had multiple threats some of which I was apparently able to heal and some removed to vault. I ran AVG scan again this morning and it is now showing Trojan Horse Rootkit-Pakes.M in File System32\drivers\ntfs.sys. As this file cannot be removed does this mean that my only option is to do a re-install. Hope this makes sense to someone.

Should mention that i buy groceries online using debit card
