  1. I have a D-link wireless router and am curious as to why it keeps renewing the Ip address, I have seen it do this when it looses connection but the computer I am having trouble always says that the connection is excellent. I thought it was my ISP but it even cuts out when I try to stream music from the other local desktop computer.

sounds like an issue with dhcp on the router is the system that gives out ip addresses or its just dlink being a dlink if i was you id just pack that dlink up in the box and send it back

    D-link

I'll check the settings to see If i can adjust how the dhcp assigns the Ip, If that does not work I will break out the extra netgear router and see if that helps
