    go to Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Computer Management -> Event Viewer
    you will find Application, Security, System. Dbl-Click on System

    scroll to find Red-X Error and Yellow Warnings
    On the right are Up, Down arrows and a Copy Button; click copy and then PASTE
    into your follow-up here.

    Give preference to info re Errors and paste 2-3 of them :0

    did you try Safe Mode?

    restart the system and start tapping F8 every second -- should lead to a
    b/w screen with SAFE MODE choice -- use it if possible
