I'll concede that Obama did pander to black interests quite a bit, but he never spewed hate quite like Trump. Nor was he the complete egomaniac or pathological liar Trump is.
But, facts is facts, or whoever speaks last is right, and we can argue that point all day.
One constant is the fact that there aren't really any viable alternatives to him, or they haven't manifested themselves as such quite yet.
Steven Colbert has a bead on Trump and all his shortcomings and stupidity. At the end of the day, all Trump is good at, is pushing people around until they lend him money to build something.
OTOH Mr. Colbert is not that much more than an a** wipe to the uber deviant left:
The fact of the matter is, the US has become the real life equivalent of "District One", in the "Hunger Games" series.
With that said, The field of Democratic opponents is quite fallow Julian Castro's 'platform' (who is of Hispanic decent), consists of wanting to throw our borders open and the hell with ICE. I've always said, "the Mexicans want to take back the entire southwest, one overcrowded apartment at a time". Castro would summarily allow exactly that.
And Buttigieg as president? IMHO, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. would be the laughing stock of the entire world, the minute his "house husband" moved in.
The whole "Pocahontas" thing will haunt Elizabeth Warren badly, should she engage the Democratic nomination And mercifully Hillary Clinton isn't running
We have a massive racial divide, an ever advancing gender identity and deviant sexuality crisis, while most of the country is heavily addicted to drugs. If that doesn't sound like full blown decadence and the end of an empire, /nothing would..
However, Trump is far from the solution, he's just one annoying wild card in the equation, for reasons too numerous to mention.
