These things are the books of the future. Netbooks are limited in a lot of ways, but the best use I see on these thing is for reading. Instead of chosing 1 or 2 to books to take on your backup, you can just take them all! Every 15 minutes free become usefull for reading (and learning) something.
And for those who say Acer is a bad choice, I've been using one for years. Never had a problem. Like any machine, It lasts as long as you take care of it. The price-quality relation is the best on the market. Other companies may have a better user support (dont know, never asked for it), build quality and fine materials, but they cant beat theses prices.
So, if you are thinking about buying a laptop, research is important, and Acer is definitly an option to consider.

Hi, this is funny, i'm searching for info and I can participate in a contest... witch I problably will not win. But here is my aply to enter the contest. The review is good, and I really like the color of the acer. And it will make my work as a teacher much more handy. Now I have to copy everything to a memory stick.... school will not buy me a mini-notebook... And I will not buy one for my work.

Acer has some wonderful products. all i've every owned from the company though was a monitor, ....worked really well.

Just saw the laptop today on a store, spent some time with it to see how it feels. It's pretty good I think, it had Win XP, no Vista luckily, although I saw on some post that you can install Win7 and disable Aero and works fine, so that's another option for an OS. I have Win7 Ultimate on my actual laptop and works like a charm, what a difference it makes two more years of developing from MS. The screen size and resolution are excellent, I thought that a 11.6" would seem smaller but it's great, and has a pretty high resolution given its size so that's a plus. The keyboard being full size is also a great deal. And the processor does not feel slow at all. It's somewhat slower that the other Atom processors but you can't see the difference on everyday use.
Anyway, prepare the shipment for Spain please.
