turning off flash media ads

    Anyone know an easy way of turning Flash media on and off? I hate the ads that use them now, and actually I rarely need it for stuff I want to watch, so what I'd like was basicly a non hassel way of turning it on and off. maybe a copy of reg files?

    Try going to your Downloaded Program Files folder in the Windows dir, and deleting whatever says Flash. IE will ask you if you want to install Flash the next time you come across one, so just say no.

    thanks for the suggestion, but I'm looking more for an way to turn it off and on, not to install/reinstall it.
