TV audio using Bluetooth earpiece for my phone

I have a Plantronix earpiece I use with my LG Android phone. It announces it is connected to phone #1 when it is turned on or reconnects. I also have a Samsung TV and bluetooth DVD/CD player with SMART and other features. My question is: Can I get connected to the TV so I can hear without having to turn the volume up so high?

Your TV has bluetooth? Maybe you can, I don't know what else to suggest apart from looking through your Settings menu to 'connect bluetooth device'. Maybe provide TV model number?

Also listening to anything continuous like TV through one ear is usually a terrible experience.
