Tv-out And A Tv Tuner

  1. Ok, so here's my dilema... I want to do TV-Out with my computer, that way I can watch my movies and stuff on my nice big 27" tv screen. Well big next to the 19" monitor. Anyway, I figured I'd go about getting a TV tuner as well. The card I'm looking at getting is the WinFast PVR2000 from Leadtek. It has FM, TV, Audio, S-VIDEO, and Video. Apparently I can do TV-out from the S-VIDEO? I don't know much on this area so I appreciate the help.

No, you cannot do output from a TV tuner unless it's explicitly stated so in the product features. Most likely all the ports on the TV tuner are input.

You can do TV-out from a video card with a TV-out feature or an external device that can take in the VGA signal.
