I have the Athlon 64 X2 5600 dual core with the M2N-E SLI mobo, 4gig ram (2X2),
nvidia 500 chipset. They are set at default values at present but I would like
to OC them. How can I do this and at what settings? I also have a really good
MSI GPU but can't give the specs at the moment.

Usually, the information you need comes with the board and the CPU. Suggest you look at the MSI and AMD websites. You can also find good info by doing a Google search. There is a bit too much information needed for a useful post here.
