Tweaking microphone recording settings

By NetCablesPlus

  1. I am running a Vista laptop and have plugged in a standard microphone for recording a demo video. Is there any way to tweak the bass and treble values to make my voice sound a little better? I went to the sound card settings and they have selections for volume for the microphone, but that is about it. I am wondering if there are other places to tweak the recording sound. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. It has given me the idea to check with my sound card manufacturer to see if they have an updated driver which might have more capabilities.

    Any other help out there?
