    "Tokens are used by applications when they pull data about users"

    Not sure why limiting outside access to user data is a bad idea. A bit anal of Twitter's rulers, I suppose, but still. Also not sure why developers (as opposed to corporate marketers) should be upset about it. There must be something about those tokens and how they work that I'm missing.
