I did a dumb thing when moving files to my laptop. I had saved mydocuments as a file and then loaded the file into to my laptop there by creating 2 mydocuments. I moved all the documents to the other mydocuments and then tried to remove the extra one and it wouldn't allow me to do it. I removed all documents, changed the properties from read only and saved it. I still could not remove it. Changed the name to another name and no help. Anybody have any suggestions? It is not doing any harm but it just bugs me that I can't remove it.

I'd first double check which folder is the Window's My Documents
    > Rt click My Documents select Properties
    > Look on the target tab to see the path to the Windows My Documents

Then (for the OTHER My Documents) see How to take ownership of a file or a folder in Windows XP
    > Try taking ownership (you must have Admin rights)
    > Then try deleting the folder
