Ultimate Boot Disc

Has anyone found out how to move the ultimate boot disc to a Flash drive. Making the GUI come up when you boot from the drive.

So I guess that know one knows or hasn't fooled around with it.

There have been several attempts to make BartPE or UBD run form a pen drive. none as far as I know have been entirely sucessful, but I havnt kept up with such activities for a while so I am not sure the status of such efforts.

There are good reasons why most dont bother with such an undertaking.

1. All motherboards do not support booting from USB. but they do support booting from CD.

2. plugging a fragile usb flash drive into the usb port of a possibly damged machine falls under the category of "stupid things to do, if you want to trash you flash drive."

Not to mention that CD filesystems and booting from CDs is radically different from booting a hard drive and one would have to rebuild the whole framework from scratch..

I know how to boot from a flash drive already and I have completed the task of running the programs from the disc on the drive as well. I need to know how to allow the GUI to come up.
