    Rage> I know P5E specs are good
In writing that reply i was hoping that i'd get a recommendation for a none asus motherboards....
But i'll, i think stick to link's selection: Striker Extreme.
    :D :D :monkey: :D :D
Meh is the P5E a bit more future proof?
in the end i need it Future proof...

P5E's cheaper on newegg so its probably cheaper on the street too huh?!
Rage got any idea on its price in AED *shrugs* i dont REALLY know prices here in The UAE, just got here lol

The P5E is more future-proof, having support for Penryn and PCI-E 2.0 slots. I don't think it's available in Dubai now though. If you can't get it, the Striker Extreme would be okay I suppose. Other alternatives would be the Abit IP35 Pro and the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R. Lastly, I'd rather you not buy the components like motherboards, CPUs and video cards from the UAE if possible, since prices are highly inflated and getting good-quality items is very difficult. If you have an American-issued credit card, you can order items from ZipZoomFly or from TigerDirect. If you don't, Aramex provides a Shop n' Ship service that I myself use for TigerDirect and m-Wave so I
d suggest it to you too. I also buy directly from Amazon and Outpost.com, which are one of the few sites that accept international credit cards.

    Amazon.com or .co.uk?
I don't have a valid American credit card...

I've only tried Amazon.com so I don't know about the other one. Have you tried Outpost.com though?

Outpost and Amazon.com don't seem to have the P5E..
(Havent tried anything yet, just had a look)
I'll look around and price things, I can't imagine that things here would be much more than the shipping cost+item cost...
Meh, Can i buy your system? <<Just kidding<<
Serious though thanks for the help i'll look at my options and maybe ask my uncle to forward me parts...

It's not only that the items are very expensive, fact is that they're difficult to find. However, you can buy locally using Souq.com, which is like a localized eBay. You can find great deals on video cards, power supplies and motherboards there.
