Unable to download antivirus updates

    Hi there. I've been unable to download updates for my antivirus software and have found my Google search links being redirected. Not sure how long this has been going on - I took an embarrassingly long time to realise something was wrong.

    I've followed the 8-step prelim. removal instructions to the best of my ability, and will attach the three log files to this post

    (I'm on a Windows XP laptop, browsing with Firefox* (with a variety of add-ons) and used AVG free until it stopped updating)

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    *Just realised that my Firefox has been crashing, which I'd assumed was a problem with the latest update, but may be another symptom...
